Just as a preface to some BLUES METAL REVIEWS -
A while ago I stumbled upon an entire genre of hair metallers in hordes. But these were no ordinary hair metallers. It appears that during the late-eighties and early-nineties all the hair metal bands started wearing black and listening to Led Zeppelin. Their band photos often featured the band standing in a southern Californian desert or parking lot, appearing to be walking aimlessly. I wouldn't be making these generalizations if I did not see it multiple, multiple times. In any case, I've come to collect these records. They seem to find me, not vise-versa. What are they? Amped up Led Zeppelin riff-copping, OOOH BABY-shouting, blues players. Most notably, Kingdom Come who was singed by getting too close to the fire - criticized for sounding too much like Zeppelin.
